Another dawn
And forth it brings
The hateful spawns
Can freedom wring?
Upon the day
The throb collides
Rending through
Opaque pride
The empty shelves
Now silent idle
Where once dwelled
Half-full vials
Dust collects
These hobbled towns
The call of growth
But mocking clowns
The circus rambles
Another jest
The jabbing brambles
Destroy the rest
The fired village
Now a smolder
The giant fissure
Immobile boulders
But hear the call
Whispered
I look at the lines in the palm of my left hand,
im now a man
stranded,
open handed
taken for granted
This is a world you don't understand,
your world is insignificant like a grain of sand
you're not so grand,
you're just bland,
You disgust me,
trust me,
one day you'll be walking alone
you'll get a call on your phone
crumbling the walls of your world,
you're head will start to twirl,
you're just another girl
a wannabe princess
who failed to impress
her love onto another,
one day you'll discover
that your heart is empty
dying to be set free
locked in chains,
your efforts will be in vain
like a runaway train
doomed to
He stared deep into her staring eyes,
Which were lit up like bright clouds in the deepest of blue skies,
Her hands were as soft as rolling fields,
Where the wind tickles gently and love harvests yield,
Beauty unmatched, he stumbled clumsily for words,
As she giggled blushingly with a sound of singing birds,
A stroke of her hair, a ray of sunshine,
In which the gods themselves couldn't have created so divine,
Alone she stands, a flower in her hair,
That roll and fall gracefully in strands long and fair,
Holding his palm he called for her in longing,
Entranced in her beauty, with his love open calling,
Love filled her heart, as she
There is a man whom sailed the seven seas
whom wakes every morning to a timber breeze
Who toils from dawn to the setting sun
and brings joy to every parent's daughter and son
His presence serves as a reminder to all
that giving and caring can break down those walls
which have stood for eternity in the face of those lost
whom view life with pessimism & whose hope turns to frost
His image fills hearts with roaring fires
whom in turn create paradise from the remotest of mires
and the sound of his bells are the drums of victory
which have signaled true happiness for years throughout history
Remember the lessons we continuously teach
Another dawn

The hateful spawns
Can freedom wring?

Hey. I haven't written anything an extremely long time.
I am currently working on a short story to enter into the Blizzard Entertainment Writing Contest. I have revised it and started new a couple times, but so far I like where it is going. I still have a ways to go in writing it. I've never written a short story before so I'm excited to see what the end product will end up looking like. I have all the ideas in my head though. It's a fun writing experience, and a different one at that.
As far as where I'm at in my life now...
Currently in my second year of law school at Michigan State University. It's a pain in the ass, and there is always
.
What's goin onnnn.
I'm just workin on another spring semester at Chico State University!
I haven't written any new poetry in a while. I really should get back into that. Other than that, just been snowboarding lately at the sick mountains over here in Lake Tahoe and watchin the olympics. Also been doin a lot of stuff with the fraternity lately which has been pretty fun. go pikes! Also, tryin to work with this new journal skin. failing miserably.
Hey people whatsup. Back home in L.A. for thanksgiving. I can't wait to stuff myself with mashed potatoes, stuffing, turkey, pie, and all the rest! Then it's back off to Chico to finish off the semester. I'm in the process of applying to law schools which is a big pain. But once it is all said and done I am pretty excited about it. I've just been hangin out with friends and family over the break, went to the beach at night a couple times and had a few beers. All in all some good times!
Hi there! Sorry to bother you, but you're one of my watchers and I wanted to give you a heads up that I'm leaving DeviantART completely. I had switched accounts a year ago, so I wasn't using this one anymore. If you'd like to continue keeping up with my work, you can check out the links below. If not, that's okay too. Thank you for your support up to this point, it means a great deal to me!
